I hesitate to post a lesson on this so soon because, regardless of my suggestions, I know some people will read ahead. This is not a technique to use before the previous lessons are mastered. You will develop bad habits that will be next to impossible to get rid of if you attempt to learn the wiggle too early.
That being said, a true wiggle is not random flailing of your saber. It is a variation on the poke in which you wiggle your saber left to right slightly so that your saber has a higher chance of hitting (less chance of being blocked).
Contrary to what some may think, the wiggle is not intended to score multiple hits in one swing. Wiggling in that way will only serve to decrease the potential damage that you can deal. The same principal will always apply to how the saber deals damage. What matters is the location of the hit, the time duration of the hit, and how clean the hit is.
I will give a demonstration of a proper wiggle and an improper wiggle.
Keep practicing!
