Strafe jumping is, in essence, utilizing q3's strange physics to jump far and fast without using force. most people do this wrong even when they think they are doing it right, myself included. Because I am not an expert in this (and can really only make it through the easy strafe courses), I will post some videos by other, more qualified individuals to help you learn the basics of the technique. These videos, combined with a few people pointing out mistakes, was the primary way I learned to strafejump.
