There are some moves in JKA that are unwise to use in most (if not all) situations. In some cases you are instantly labeled a "noob" for attemting to use them, even if you succeed in killing your target. These moves include: Kata (hitting attack and alternate attack) DFA , or death from above (hitting attack and jump at the same time in Red or Yellow stance) Rollstab (rolling and stabbing at the end) Uploaded with ImageShack.usand Butterfly (hitting attack and jump at the same time with duals or staff) All of these moves not only hinder your ability to move freely, but leave you completely open for attack, butterfly a little less so, but nonetheless it does. DRILLTake turns with your training partner doing these moves so the other can attack its weak area. Repeat until both of you have a solid understanding of when to attack all of them. I will give you a demonstration of why using any of the above attacks is a bad idea. Remember to avoid using these moves in most situations. keep practicing! LL
